4CHAMBERS is a sensorial journey into the human heart. The performance space is transformed into an intimate environment with corridors that function as arteries and veins leading to four discrete performance chambers. Guided by six cast members, an audience of 12 circulates through the space, monitoring their own hearts throughout this immersive multimedia performance.

Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, qui a su rassembler dans un seul élan, pendant deux semaines, les 20000 spectateurs de la Grande halle en 2010, a raffiné une formule spectaculaire unique, entre lyrisme à fleur de peau et urgence à l'arrache, qui emporte et émeut à la fois. Cette nouvelle production, sous l'influence du dieu des mangas, l'écrivain japonais Osamu Tezuka, le père d'Astro Boy et Buddha, Cherkaoui plonge dans l'intrépide énergie de la bande dessinée nipponne, son sens aigu de l'irréalité et des exploits physiques. Neuf danseurs, trois musiciens, deux experts en arts martiaux et un calligraphe, tous originaires d'Europe ou d'Asie, se lanceront à corps perdus sur les traces électriques de héros bouillonnants, entre tradition japonaise, science-fiction et vie d'aujourd'hui. Un bain de sensations secouant garanti.

En 2008, Pina Bausch, quelques mois avant sa mort, décide de reprendre son fameux spectacle Kontakthof, non plus avec sa troupe, mais avec des adolescents de 14 à 18 ans qui ne sont jamais montés sur scène et n'ont jamais dansé. Ce documentaire est leur histoire...

PINA est un film pour Pina Bausch de Wim Wenders. C'est un film dansé en 3D, porté par l’Ensemble du Tanztheater Wuppertal et l’art singulier de sa chorégraphe disparue à l’été 2009. Ses images nous convient à un voyage au coeur d'une nouvelle dimension, d’abord sur la scène de ce légendaire Ensemble, puis hors du théâtre, avec les danseurs, dans la ville de Wuppertal et ses environs - cet endroit dont Pina Bausch a fait son port d’attache durant 35 ans et où elle a puisé sa force créatrice.
