Fractal Geometry Panorama
by EmauxWhen fractals were a brand new idea, and even when The Fractal Geometry of Nature, was a new book being reviewed, futurists disagreed, as is their wont. A few envisioned a whole new field, but many did not. They found it more likely (as we did) that fractal ideas would spread far and wide among existing fields, influencing them to varying degrees but replacing or absorbing none. This second scenario is what is presently witnessed.

Chaoscope > Manual
by fotopolChaoscope manual is divided into five chapters : a Quick start, which will guide you through the basic features of the program, Attractors, which is a detailed inventory of the equations available, Rendering modes, which gives a preview of the five rendering methods, Interface where you will find a description of the user interface and finally Project file format which describes the project file syntax in detail.
Fractal Explorer
by jdrsantos & 2 others Fractal Explorer can render the classical polinomial fractal sets (like the Mandelbrot-set, the Julia-set, the Newton-set and theirs variations), 4D-complex fractals (called «quaternions»), 3D «strange» attractors, and IFS. Also, FE has many features
cosmic recursive fractal flames
by jdrsantos & 1 otherFractal Flames are algorithmically generated images and animations. The software was originally written in 1992 and released as open source, aka free software. Since then it has developed a lot. It has been incorporated into many graphics programs and por
