Phylo is a project that began as a reaction to the following nugget of information: Kids know more about Pokemon creatures than they do about real creatures*. We think there’s something wrong with that. Apparently, so do many others.

Pencil Rebel 2 is an awards winning experimental website created by Grzegorz Kozakiewicz using mixed media and Adobe Flash to provide a unique, interactive experience. The whole idea in this neverending fight between analogue and digital is that "Creativity is inside of us, not on the screen" and there are many ways to express yourself.

If you have kids you are already aware that the internet could be very useful, and this site gives you the chance to diminish to almost zero the harmful content they might be exposed to, augmenting their chances to learn only about what is cool and useful.

Last week, in an effort to kill some time, Kim and I invented a little game. Basically, it's just Word Association with doodles instead of boring ol' words. We didn't really make up any rules before we started — they just kind of formed as we played. But I'll do my best here to explain things to you.
