Trisquel on Sugar SugarWe have a new project, a live -and installable- CD/USB image running the latest Sugar learning platform: "The award-winning Sugar Learning Platform promotes collaborative learning through Sugar Activities that encourage critical thinking, the heart of a quality education. Designed from the ground up especially for children, Sugar offers an alternative to traditional “office-desktop” software." This new project will improve the Trisquel Edu system, providing a nice educational environment for first grade students. We hope this will also be the start of a productive relationship with the SugarLabs folks, who helped us a lot to achieve this release. Many thanks to Aleksey Lim and to everyone at the Sugar project for giving us this wonderful software! The project was presented during the Software Freedom Day 09 event organized by the Free Software Foundation. Briefly introduced by Walter Bender, founder of SugarLabs, our Sugar+Trisquel solution provides a way to run this excelent educational software in a fully free system. Bonjour à tous, voici un petit article dont le but est de vous présenter Easy2Boot, un outil très pratique pour réaliser une clé USB multi-boot.

Je vous présente le nouveau live Voyager 11.10 qu’on pourrait presque appeler Voyager Révolution, car complètement inspiré et repensé Xubuntu 11.10 et son bureau XFCE basé sur Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot.Une personnalisation complète de 978 mo. Une distribution GNU/Linux libre et gratuite. Vous pouvez graver Voyager sur DVD ou sur une clé USB avec le logiciel d’Ubuntu ou autre. Une vidéo du projet est présenté ci-dessous.

SystemRescueCD comme son nom l’indique, est un CD de secours qui permet de restaurer un système depuis un CD-ROM. En n’utilisant pas le disque local de la machine, il est possible d’effectuer des opérations complexes quelque soit l’état de cette machine. SystemRescueCD contient les applications suivantes : * Outils de partitionnement : GParted, GNU Parted, Partimage, FSArchiver * Outils des différents systèmes de fichiers (montage, modification, redimensionnement, récupération de données, etc, etc), dont ntfs-3g et Test-disk * Outils réseau : Samba, Nfs, nslookup, tcpdump et d’autres..

Actuellement c'est très simple de craquer une cléf wep, ce tutorial permet de tester la manipulation.

Super Grub Disk se veut une petite boite à outils puissante permettant de démarrer sur son système d’exploitation préféré en cas de défaillance, retrouver la mire de windows après une installation d’une distribution linux ou restaurer GRUB en cas de perte.

Un live CD tout petit mais qui sait tout faire Preez une Knoppix, retirez KDE et remplacez-le par fluxbox (beaucoup moins gourmand en ressources), enlevez les programmes de la Knoppix, mais aussi le support des langues (damn small linux est disponible en anglais uniquement !) et les fichiers d’aides… pour ne laisser qu’une sélection de programmes “légers”, et vous obtenez Damn Small Linux ! Le tout dans moins de 50 mégas (c’est la place dont on dispose dans les CD au format carte de crédit).

SystemRescueCd est un système linux complet, utilisable sous forme d'un CDRom bootable, un "LiveCd". Il ne s'agit pas simplement d'une alternative aux systèmes existants, car le but du projet est de répondre a une attente qui n'était pas satisfaite. Ce CDRom de taille réduite (autour de 115 Mo) offre la possibilité d'effectuer facilement des taches d'administration sur une machine. Les outils systèmes les plus importants sont disponibles. Il est possible de partitionner le disque avec l'outil graphique GParted (clone libre de Partition-Magic), de sauvegarder ses données ou son système, de remettre en place la machine après un plantage, de réactiver le gestionnaire d'amorçage, ...

grml is a bootable CD (Live-CD) originally based on Knoppix and nowadays based on Debian. grml includes a collection of GNU/Linux software especially for users of texttools and system administrators. grml provides automatic hardware detection. You can use grml (for example) as a rescue system, for analyzing systems/networks or as a working environment. It is not necessary to install anything to a harddisk; you don't even need a harddisk to run it. Due to on-the-fly decompression grml includes about 2.1 GiB of software and documentation on the CD. You don't have to pay anything to use grml because it is free software!
