As the number of gamers continue to increase at an exponential rate, I’m certain that more Online Games would be made available as game developers rush to capture this highly lucrative market. The most renowned titles in this genre are World of Warcraft, Eve Online, Dungeons and Dragons and Lord of The Rings Online. However, gamers would not only have to spend money on the monthly fee in order to continue playing but they would need to play the game for long periods in order to achieve a goal/mission/objective in-game. This might be unhealthy as some might get addicted and hence, forego their life responsibilities such as their family, work or studies. There have also been actual cases where addicted gamers have died from over playing.
