10facts for Dummies

Here’s a little pop quiz to test your general knowledge on cars: How many colours does the Volvo V70 comes in? If you answered seven, give yourself a pat on the back. If you managed to go further by actually reciting the names, you are truly a scary person. Just kidding! Another interesting fact: the Volvo 740 GLT 16 Valve model is Volvo’s first engine that uses four-valve technology. Want another fact to garnish your curiosity? How about the fact that the Nissan Maxima was given 5/5 rating by the NHTSA for it’s front driver impact while the passenger’s safety rate was 4/5? I never knew that there ratings were given for the driver and passenger’s safety!

10 Facts A Day Keeps Ignorance Away

Attention to all the automobile fans out there: I’ve got some news for you. Okay, to be absolutely honest, I don’t have new news, but I do know of some Nissan facts that you most probably don’t. Like, the Nissan 300ZX has a total curb weight of 3533 lbs and a height of 49.2 inches; or the Murano was nominated for the North American Truck of the Year Award back in 2003. These are things you probably can’t find from reading magazine reviews.

2007 Nissan Sentra Review

Nissan invited us up to San Francisco to drive its all-new 2007 Sentra, and to be honest with you, we initially weren’t that excited. While we’re big fans of the old B13-chassis SE-R and the outgoing B15 Sentra (also in SE-R trim), our initial impressions of the 2007 Sentra weren’t that good. It seems as if Nissan decided that its entry-level Sedan just couldn’t hack it against the Civic, so it decided to go after the old Echo instead. The new Civic got sleek and sporty while the now-upright-and-bubbly Sentra turned into an oddly-proportioned caricature of a “real” sedan.
