An ongoing art project by Justin Bettman, Set in the Street consists of elaborate interior spaces made from unwanted or discarded materials and furniture. After shooting photos in the spaces, the sets are left up on the street, where passersby can shoot their own photos and share using the Instagram hashtag #SetintheStreet. The final photographs Justin shoots explore the complex ideas of perspective and perception through revealing the larger picture that we often overlook.

Instant Peeping is a project that explores behaviour patterns through data analysis among Instagram users.

This is Now project is a visual composition which uses real-time updates from the ever popular Instagram application based on users geo-tag locations. The tool streams photos instantly as soon as they are uploaded on Instagram and captures a cities movement, in a fluid story.

Citizen journalism site Blottr has launched a channel to encourage people to upload and share their photographs and videos of the Olympics. Blottr is offering to print the best photo from each contributor and turn it into a fridge magnet that it will give to those who submitted the pictures "free of charge as a keep sake and memory of the games". Blottr is also planning to showcase reports of the games, including "profiles of participating athletes from the smaller, less prominent countries in the world", the outlet said in a release.
