Mexico's 2008 Mastretta MXT

The 2008 Mastretta MXT: midengine, with a plastic body over an aluminum semi-monocoque shell. Power comes from a four-cylinder 2.3-liter 200-horsepower engine that propels the 2,200-pound coupe from zero to 62 mph in 7 seconds and enables a top speed of 143 mph. Production is expected to begin in spring 2008, with a planned annual run of just 150 units.
