This blog mainly details the experience of being part of the www.savemylanguage.org project. The project primarily aims to document the Konkani language spoken by the GSB community in and around Mangalore, Karnataka, India. To start off, an online GSB konkani dictionary has been introduced, which is mainly dependent on users contributions. The aim is to have a data repository of 10,000 konkani words by the end of 2007. The Devanagari script will be used for this project.
