Just a week ago, I was spending my whole two weeks off from work in Europe visiting some of the most interesting places you could think of. At first thought, I wasn’t really excited when the travel package included Croatia and Czech Republic as a getaway. To me, it was another two countries that are famous for soccer. In the end, I just went for it because of the attractive visit to Austria and its beautiful sceneries. However, it was Croatia and Czech that really left a memorable experience in my life.

Many have not heard of the place called Belize, let alone plan a holiday there. Yet, Belize is fast becoming a tourist attraction to those who knows the good stuff, and it is no surprise given the facts about the place. Belize is located on the Caribbean coast of northern Central America. It shares a border on the north with the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, on the west with the Guatemalan department of Petén, and on the south with the Guatemalan department of Izabal. Being 2 hours away from Houston (on flight), Belize has good proximity and good value (their currency is twice the US Dollar), so one can hunt for holiday bargains easier.
