The Dell OptiPlex 780 is the company’s new business PC, featuring Intel technology. The system is based on the Intel Q45 chipset and features an Intel Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Duo, Pentium Dual Core or Celeron CPU and up to 8GB of Non-ECC DDR3 1066MHz memory. The OptiPlex 780 is configurable with up to two 3.5- or 2.5-inch storage units, including standard hard drives and solid state drives. The drives can be configured without RAID or in RAID 0 and 1 modes. Optical drive options include a DVD ROM or a DVD burner, but the system can be also configured without optical device.

EVGA Interview Dual Monitor System Released

The EVGA Interview Dual Monitor System, featuring two 17” 1440×900 8ms displays, a 1.3MP webcam with microphone, and three-port USB Hub, is now available for purchase in the US. Both displays are capable of being rotated independently vertically and horizontally 180 degrees. The EVGA Interview 200-LM-1700-KR is priced at $624.99 (Buy.com) and $649.99 (Newegg).

HP ProLiant ML150 G6 Tower Server Overview

Hewlett-Packard has released recently the HP ProLiant ML150 G6 Server series, a new 5U tower 2-socket system based on Intel’s new Nehalem CPU microarchitecture. When compared to the Intel 5100 chipset-based ProLiant ML150 G5, the ML150 G6 (Generation 6) with the Intel 5500 chipset features newer Intel Xeon dual- or quad-core processors with integrated memory controllers, support for up to 48GB of DDR3 memory instead of up to 16GB DDR2, new controller and adapter options, a new chassis design, and other innovations.
