MarshalSandler.com » Lifestreaming: Follow Your Posterous Peeps with RSS – The Steve Rubel Lifestream

(via)
Steve Rubel does a great How To On Posterous ! “As I mentioned last night, as more of my friends join Posterous and use it as a hub to populate their I am becoming a huge fan of their built in reader. It’s helping me discover all kinds of new, substantive content that is hard to find in Twitter or even multiple blog RSS feeds. Today I found out you can actually subscribe to the Posterous peeps you follow via RSS. Here’s how. First, visit posterous.com/reader in your browser. If you’re using Firefox, Safari or IE, the RSS icon should light up. Then all you need to do is subscribe to that feed. I am wondering if this one day will become my preferred input channel — especially if Posterous becomes as real-time as Friendfeed, Facebook and Twitter. It still feels slow right now, like blogging. Then again, much of the content already finds its way into all three sites. So this might be moot. Still, for now, it’s cool for me. !” Steve Rubel http://blog.posterous.com/

louisgray.com: Nobody Can Hear You Scream If Your RSS Feed Is Dead

Mr Gray Makes an interesting Point , and it goes back to customer service, when service is left on the back burner people like Mr Gray who invests time and money in a content creation suffer- "I didn't make any blog posts on Thursday, after a full Wednesday which included a visit to Google headquarters to meet with the Google Reader team. And even though I made a few posts on Friday, the first day of the SXSW conference, many people still think I'm on a temporary hiatus, thanks to a tag-team failure between FeedBurner and Blogger, who have significantly impacted many users by zeroing out their feeds, stopping their posts from getting out of their domain. It looks like I should have spent more time in Mountain View after chatting up the Reader team, to see just what the heck is going on elsewhere on campus.!"FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 2009 Louis Gray
