Designing the whaam! style in Mapbox Studio | Mapbox
Inspired by a Roy Lichtenstein original at the Walker Art Center, I decided to design the whaam! map. In his early career, Lichtenstein worked as a comic book artist which inspired his later work. I kept my whaam! style limited to four stylistic mainstays:
Designing the Swiss Ski style in Mapbox Studio | Mapbox
Swiss maps have long been praised for their accuracy, quality, and beauty. Since 1938 the Swisstopo – Swiss Federal Office of Topography, has been producing maps for hikers, Alpinists, cyclists, planners, tourists, and explorers. I decided to design a ski map with such attention to detail using Mapbox Studio and the Mapbox Streets and Mapbox Terrain tilesets.

Se reapproprier les espaces defensifs ou deconsideres de nos villes
Couvrez cette ville que je ne saurais voir ! Depuis quelques années, les décideurs publics et les aménageurs urbains jouent les Tartuffe à trop vouloir se protéger des dérives de nos villes. Mobilier urbain anti SDF, éclairage spécial dans les gares pour éviter les drogués, dispositifs sonores anti-jeunes, la ville préfère contourner ses problèmes par des aménagements à tendance discriminatoire.
Au Canada, des bancs ingénieux conçus pour les SDF
L’automne dernier à Vancouver, au Canada, une association a mis en place des bancs spécialement conçus pour les sans-abri. L’initiative fait enfin parler d’elle.
Septembre 2013 : l’organisme à but non lucratif Raincity Housing, en collaboration avec l’agence de pub Spring Advertising, installe des bancs destinés aux sans-abri dans la ville de Vancouver. Ces refuges temporaires, modulables pour certains, permettent à ceux qui n’ont pas de toit d’au moins se protéger de la pluie.

There was a total of only 24 entries selected by the jury from nearly 200 submitted from 29 countries. These winners will will be included in the Annual of the Type Directors Club, Typography 35 and also included in 7 exhibitions touring cities in the United States, Canada, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Russia, Spain, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam.
