Lexmark is now featuring the Lexmark Linux Printer Driver Developer's Kit (LLPDDK) to allow the development of custom drivers for Linux. This provides Linux programmer enthusiasts a common printer driver that can be implemented with popular Linux printing subsystem such as the Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) and the traditional lpr/lpd line printer spooling system. It also provides a common scanner driver that can be implemented with the Sane Access Now Easy (SANE) standard.
