Hybrid invasion of the U.S. is going fast and soon every second car on the roads will be “green”. This week was significant for Japanese and American automakers: Toyota has announced that it reached one million mark in sales of gas-electric cars for American customers and Ford has assembled 100,000th hybrid SUV.

Hybrid Car Award for Ford
The International Energy Agency (IEA) has awarded Ford Motor Company the Clean Vehicle Award. This award is granted to the company for the second time. The Agency praised Ford’s achievements in the sphere of lower energy consumption and high energy efficiency. The Award was presented to the company in Anaheim at the Electric Vehicle Symposium (EVS).
